There is an incredible array of Energy Healing systems available to us. Among the many in which I’ve been trained are: the vibrational medicine of flower essences and essential oils; shamanic journeys for soul retrieval; Thought-field Therapy (often called “tap therapy”), an acupressure technique for redirecting Chi; and a technique called “Clearing the Crystal Body,” which uses sound/light/symbol-code scalar-wave frequency to understand what has happened, change its consequences (release karma) and help us reconnect to our Divine Expression as it was originally intended.
“Energy is consciousness and consciousness is energy”—a little understood term that is bandied about in New Age circles. What it means is that all things are made of energetic substance, including consciousness. And all energetic substance is made of consciousness, thus all energy is consciously aware. The body, mind and spirit represent an intimately interwoven system of ordered energy structure, which is further interwoven with the energetic structure of the cosmos.
How often do we consider what happens to our thoughts once we’ve stopped thinking them? Well, what happens is they are out there creating our reality. Charles Fillmore, co-founder of the Unity movement, coined the phrase “thoughts are things and thoughts think. . . [and they] have the power of secondary reproduction after their own kind.” This statement is the thesis for how affirmations work—we put our thoughts out there, state them verbally (give them sound) and sometimes even write them down, thus setting into action a conscious creation of what we want.
You may have noticed, however, that affirmations seem to only work for some of the people some of the time. When affirmations don’t work it is because: (a) we have not controlled, nor even kept track of, all the “unconscious negative thinking” that is already out there doing battle with these newly created, positive, conscious thoughts and (b) the aforementioned system of energy structure that is our body/mind/spirit contains blockages or imprints—otherwise known as miasms—that will not allow the new creation to progress into manifestation.
Miasms are crystallizations of electro-tonal units of consciousness that form the base for anti-particles. These miasmic crystals are caused by the collection of lower-vibrating, disharmonic thought patterns, and their buildup impedes the natural evolutionary process. The Miasmic Body (a collective of miasmic crystals within the DNA, the auric field and the physical body and consciousness) is frequently called the “karmic imprint.”
There are three ways to dissolve miasmic crystals. The conventional method is to “walk the karma” and make more appropriate choices in this lifetime, which serves to heal the karmic issue (dissolve the associated miasmic imprint). Unfortunately, the buildup of miasma in most people is so convoluted that it is hard to see how to make those “better choices.” What usually happens is that the Miasmic Body becomes reinforced and expanded in the present life, as the same disharmonic response patterns are repeated due to the pull of the Miasmic Imprint on the mental and emotional bodies.
The second method of dissolving the Miasmic Imprint is through the employment of Age Regression or “Past Life” Regression and Guided Visualization. In this method, the disharmonic content of a present-life drama is traced back to its original point of creation, which may have occurred earlier in this life or in another incarnation. Insight is gained that this is something that happened in the past and is no longer a threat. Forgiveness is given, when possible, and the energetic cords are cut between “then” and “now.” The client returns from this journey with a sense of enlightened completion. This practice constitutes healing the present by releasing programs written in the past.
The fastest and gentlest way I’ve found of dissolving the Miasmic Imprint is to deal with it directly “as energy, with energy.” And one of the best methods I’ve found for this is a technique called “Clearing the Crystal Body,” which is a method of clearing “miasmic buildup,” or karma, at the deepest level possible—the level of the DNA. This exercise uses guided visualization to reverse the polarity of the miasmic anti-particles, causing their crystallizations to dissolve. Then the re-ordered, “clean” energy is redirected back into the DNA for recycling as positive karma. The result is to literally get a fresh start in life, unfettered by the karmic imprints of the past.
Have I lost you yet? If all that electro-tonal unit/miasmic anti-particle crystallization verbiage is more than you ever wanted to know about vibrational healing, let’s look at the more simply explained systems of vibrational medicine.
Flower Essences and Essential Oils are two healing arts that have been practiced in indigenous cultures for eons—long before our “civilized culture” fell under the spell of pharmacology. What I especially like about flower essences is that they address the emotional state rather than physical symptoms. I studied Bach’s flower essences more than twenty years ago and very quickly found my own personal protocol for setting up particular healing vibrations within myself. In my office, I keep the Flower Essence Society prescriptive manual, and will often suggest to my clients that they stop at a reputable health food store and pick up one or two essences that will help restore them to emotional balance. My standard recommendation is that everyone have, at the very least, a bottle of Bach’s Rescue Remedy on hand. At times of trauma or anxiety, a few drops of this essence under the tongue or in a glass of water will restore balance and a sense of calm within just a few minutes.
At the same time that flower essences came to my attention, I was also hearing a lot about Aromatherapy and Essential Oils but was, for some reason, not yet compelled to study this area of vibrational medicine. Then a few years ago, at least three people recommended a particular brand of essential oil. So I decided to finally check it out. What I discovered is that there is a need to recognize and avoid synthetic essential oils, which are frequently used in the fragrance industry but which lack the therapeutic benefits of natural essential oils. Moreover, even some well-intentioned distillers of natural essential oils are careless in their manufacturing process. They either use steam heat, which destroys the plant’s therapeutic properties, or they do not realize the necessity of using pure carrier oils with which the essential oils are mixed.
As the saying goes, “hindsight is 20/20.” I realize now why I’d been reluctant for so many years to plunge into the study and use of essential oils—because I did not know until recent years how to discern the valuable from the useless. The particular high quality essential oils recommended to me are made by Young Living Essential Oils. To my chagrin, these oils are only sold through multilevel-marketing, which gets a bad rap as a result of the thin line between MLM and pyramid schemes. I can vouch for the company, though, and solid research declares these oils to be the best available at this time.
I’m sure there are numerous other sources of high-quality essential oils, but Young Living is the one that I use. I do not sell these or any products but am always happy to evaluate your particular situation and make suggestions.
I recommend that everyone have on hand a bottle of three basic blends from Young Living. They are: “Peace and Calming,” which will ensure a good night’s sleep or general peace of mind whenever needed; “Valor,” which sets up a frequency of balance and self-confidence; and “White Angelica,” which is unsurpassed in sealing the bio-energetic field (aka aura) to keep out any invasive or chaotic energies.
I have witnessed astounding emotional healing with my clients as a result of their using these essential oils. I’m no expert on exactly how aromatherapy works but I can strongly attest that, used properly, it can work miracles in restoring balance in the emotional state.
